Who are our homegroups for?

Our homegroups are open to everyone! They provide help and support for our Christian lives and enable us to be more a part of the church community. They’re small informal groups – a place to form friendships and to get to know people.

When do homegroups meet?

At present we have three homegroups, meeting twice a month on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Dates and venues are shown on the weekly newssheet.

What are the homegroups' aims?

One of our aims at SCC is to be a worshipping community, so we include regular worship times in our homegroup sessions.

We also try to apply the Sunday talks to our individual lives.

Most people find it easier to pray in small groups, with people with whom they are familiar, and so we also try to emphasise prayer in our homegroups. Specifically we make time to pray for each others’ spiritual and practical needs.
