"He gives strength
to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired
and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint". Isaiah 40:29-31 (Motto Text 2008) |

HomegroupsWho are our homegroups for?Our homegroups are open to everyone! They provide help and support for our Christian lives and enable us to be more a part of the church community. They’re small informal groups – a place to form friendships and to get to know people. When do homegroups meet?At present we have five homegroups, meeting twice a month on Monday mornings, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Dates and venues are shown on the weekly newssheet. What are the homegroups' aims? One of our aims at SCC is to be a worshipping community, so we include regular worship times in our homegroup sessions. We also look at some questions together that help us apply the Sunday talks to our individual lives and to our lives in the community. You will find the link to this weeks questions at the bottom of this page. Most people find it easier to pray in small group, with people they are familiar with, and so we try to emphasise prayer in our homegroups. Specifically we make time to pray for each others’ spiritual and practical needs and concerns. We also pray for people for people with whom we’re trying to share our faith. If you would like to join a group, please contact one of the leaders (listed below) or talk to Colin: Monday am: Phyllis Tring (01903 235350) Wednesday pm: Jan Audus (01903
