"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint".

Isaiah 40:29-31 (Motto Text 2008)

Testimonies

God’s Word can be debated, doubted and attacked, but it can never be erased. Christian testimonies are similar. For the person sharing, God is real; his imprint is unique and his work is permanent.

Testimonies are an insight into the workings of God’s heart. Through his Spirit he nurtures, shapes, and matures the lives of those who follow him. Revealing each milestone along the narrow path. They are the accounts of people whose lives have been touched, turned around, and dedicated to God. They are never static. Instead, step-by-step and chapter-by-chapter, they are forever changing and developing. Every Christian has a story to tell of their relationship with God the Father.

Testimonies are stories of inspiration and mystery. They are the declarations of answered prayers or of prayers still waiting to be answered - the times of success or suffering, of great joy or silence - the journeys of discovery and adventure, patience and perseverance. They can speak of loss, healing, gain, and miracles. And throughout each individual story, God reveals his character.

The purpose of this growing collection of testimonies is to inspire, encourage, and refresh the faith of the reader. They are for everyone: to inspire those who may be curious to find out about God. To encourage those who perhaps need to move closer to him again. And to refresh those who already know him, and simply love to learn more. But above all, they are written to give God the endless appreciation and gratitude that he deserves.
